How often are classes held?

Do I need to purchase curriculum?

Curriculum is provided, no purchase necessary for the family

What is the responsibility of the parent?

We view ourselves as a support/math guide to come alongside the families that we are working with. This means that the parent is still in control of the student’s education. We will work with you to make sure the expectations that are set for each student matches up with the expectations for the parent.

Homeschool classes are $375 per term for new families - fall, winter, and spring. Returning families will have the same rate as last year. We are happy to produce receipts for reimbursement with homeschool funds.

What is the calendar of classes?

Homeschool Class Policies

At Watermark Tutoring, we want to deliver a high-end service for families who are seeking a quality math education for their child. To ensure smooth operations and fairness to both our teachers and clients, we have established the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Clients have the option to withdraw from the class for a partial refund within the first three weeks of class. The $50 deposit will not be refundable after July 1st. This time period is given to establish a foundation within the class and determine if it will be a good fit or not for the student. Please communicate with us ahead of time if your child is struggling from the start so we can work out a plan for the student’s success if possible. No refund will be given after three weeks of starting/joining the class for the remainder of the term (fall, winter, spring).

2. Absent Policy:

a. If a client fails to show up for a scheduled class, whether they notified or not, they will be marked as absent.

b. For students who are marked as absent, a video of the missed material will be provided at no additional charge. It is the responsibility of the client to watch the video and complete assignments before the next scheduled class.

c. No refund will be provided for an absence.

3. Late Policy:

a. It is essential for the student to be punctual for each class to ensure maximum learning time.

b. If the student arrives late for the class, the class will still end at the scheduled time. No extension of the session will be provided.

4. Tutors' Cancellation:

a. In the rare event that the teacher needs to cancel a scheduled session, the client will be informed as soon as possible.

b. The client will be provided with a video of the missed material at no additional charge. It is the responsibility of the client to watch the video and complete assignments before the next scheduled class.

Note: Watermark Tutoring reserves the right to amend or update this cancellation policy as necessary. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to all students and their families in advance.
