Meet The Team

In 2022 I founded Watermark Tutoring out of a growing desire to help students and families learn how to succeed in math and develop greater joy along the way. After teaching in public high schools for 8 years, I developed the appropriate skills to guide students toward their personal success. As a TBRI® trained educator, I have developed the knowledge and background to be able to connect with each student and help them gain confidence in math and learning. I am a husband to my much better half and father to three young boys, life stays busy in our home! I love spending time outdoors fishing or hunting, or dominating at a game of Catan. 

I’m Mackenzie and I’m currently getting my Masters in Teaching at Bushnell University. I have a B.S. in Mathematics so I know that math is challenging. I believe that everyone is capable of learning math and that sometimes all you need is someone to come alongside of you to help you understand.
